The Concussion Experience podcast
A community driven podcast
The Concussion Experience podcast shares the real life stories of Concussion Advocates whose lives have been directly impacted as a result of the brain injury they sustained. These inspiring individuals come from all different walks of life and became Concussion Advocates for the purpose of helping others that might be experiencing the same challenges they faced during the recovery process. Whether it be from the lack of education and resources available, to the mental health complications that can develop as a result of these injuries, there is a distinct gap in the public knowledge surrounding concussions and brain injury. This podcast will uncover the diverse spectrum of experiences from these invisible injuries and how they affected the lives of many.

How the podcast works
The Concussion Experience Podcast is a testimonial driven concept that provides individuals with a medium to share their unique stories with this invisible injury. As the seasons progress, this podcast will aim explore the various aspects of the holistic concussion experience including the recovery process, mental health, support systems, and much more. For the first season we wanted to show the complex nuances and individualistic nature of a brain injury, and composed 3 different questions to help guide our speakers into sharing their experience with a concussion/TBI.
