Speaker Highlight: Katie Mitchell

Katie Mitchell is a clinician-scientist in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her research interests involve factors that influence recovery of concussion in athletes. She is the founder of Thrive NeuroSport, providing clinical education and consulting.
Katie is a member of the Education and Research Committee for the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association and the Concussion in Para Sport (CIPS) international group. On the bench, she has over a decade of experience supporting high performance athletes and is currently the Lead Therapist with Women’s Para Hockey of Canada.
