As an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and Director of the Centre for Sport-Related Concussion, Innovation, and Knowledge, I lead an interdisciplinary clinical research team in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, focusing on sport and physical activity-related concussions. With a PhD in Rehabilitation Science and a Registered Kinesiologist, my research encompasses neuroscience, kinesiology, and rehabilitation. I hold scientist positions at the Keenan Research Centre for Biomedical Science of St. Michael’s Hospital and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA). My internationally recognized research includes 90+ peer-reviewed publications and over $8 million in funding from esteemed sources such as Tri-Council Funding bodies, CIMVHR, and philanthropic funds. Additionally, I am the founder of Rhea Health Inc, a digital rehabilitation platform aiding concussion and mental health recovery.
